The Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly supported the recent kickoff of the International Medical Tourism Conference in Egypt, which took place under the slogan “The echo of the past is renewed today”. The two-day event, held in the New Administrative Capital, highlighted the country’s significant progress in the health sector and its growing reputation as a leading destination for medical tourism.

Ahmed Al-Sobky, Chairperson of the Health Care Authority, emphasized the crucial role of the public sector in the development of medical tourism in Egypt. “The public sector plays a vital role in ensuring the quality and safety of medical services,” Al-Sobky stated. Moreover, he noted the developed infrastructure and policies that guarantee the quality and safety of healthcare services, making the country an attractive destination for hospital tourism and treatment tourism.
