Iran, officially the Islamic Republic of Iran
The Islamic Republic of Iran, historically recognized as Persia, is a sovereign state situated at the strategic juncture of Western, Central, and South Asia. It shares its western border with Iraq and its northwestern border with Turkey, while to the north it is bounded by Azerbaijan, Armenia, the Caspian Sea, and Turkmenistan. Afghanistan and Pakistan lie to the east and southeast, respectively, and the southern boundaries are formed by the Gulf of Oman and the Persian Gulf. Iran is the world’s 17th largest nation in terms of both territorial area and population size.

The Iranian flag is a charged horizontal tricolour with in the middle an emblem. The used colors in the flag are red, white, green. The proportion of the Iranian flag is 4:7. The Flag of Iran was adopted in 1980. The first use of the current flag design was in 1980. The last change to the current Iranian flag design was in 1980.
The National Anthem of the Islamic Republic of Iran (Persian: سرود ملی جمهوری اسلامی ایران, romanized: Sorude Melliye Jomhuriye Eslāmiye Irān. It was adopted in 1990, replacing the previous anthem used during the rule of Ruhollah Khomeini. It was composed by Hassan Riyahi, and the lyrics were written by Sayed Bagheri. It is the fourth official Iranian national anthem.
