Iran Tourism: Global Summit to Host 100 International Experts in Isfahan
Iran Tourism is preparing to host a landmark global tourism event in Isfahan, showcasing the city as a premier destination. Scheduled from February 19 to 23, this five-day gathering will welcome 100 international experts, including tour operators and travel specialists. By hosting this event, Iran aims to enhance its standing in international tourism while promoting Isfahan’s cultural and historical treasures. This initiative solidifies Isfahan’s reputation as a key player in the global travel industry.
Extensive Preparations Underway
According to Amir Karamzadeh, the tourism chief of Isfahan province, extensive planning has gone into preparing for this large-scale event. Speaking at a press conference held at the Isfahan Chamber of Commerce, Karamzadeh stated that special programs have been organized, including a Chogan (polo) match in the UNESCO-registered Naqsh-e Jahan Square in collaboration with the Chogan Federation.
International Participation
Tourism specialists from Austria, China, Turkey, and 12 other nations will attend, showcasing Iran Tourism’s growing global appeal. This diverse participation underscores Iran’s reputation for offering exceptional travel experiences. Additionally, the event highlights Isfahan’s potential to strengthen its role in international tourism by promoting cultural heritage and fostering global partnerships.

Similarly, Mojgan Izadi, Chair of the Tourism, Carpet, and Handicrafts Commission at the Isfahan Chamber of Commerce, described it as a milestone for Iran Tourism. She noted that this gathering offers a valuable chance for global tour operators to explore Iran’s untapped tourism potential.

This event will promote innovative tourism packages, strengthen global connections, and boost Iran Tourism’s economic growth and international reputation. With 22,000 registered historical sites, Isfahan, often called Iran’s cultural heart, will showcase its hidden gems.
