The team is currently taking pressure measurements and will soon test and evaluate the well.

Earlier, on May 8, Petrobel achieved a breakthrough in the Gulf of Suez by conducting exploratory drilling on the West Feran-2 appraisal well. Specifically, the well yielded 2,660 barrels of crude oil from a 27-meter perforation in the Asal sands. Currently, the additional reserve potential is being assessed.
GUPCO’s Achievement in the Gulf of Suez
GUPCO made a breakthrough on May 1, successfully perforating 38 feet in the Karim sands. Consequently, the company extracted 720 barrels of oil from the GS327-A15 exploration well. Meanwhile, GUPCO is actively evaluating the daily reserve additions.
